I have a passion for serving moms and families during pregnancy, labor, & birth. I believe that your birth story matters. I believe that how you are supported greatly impacts your birth experience and your motherhood journey.
I see these moments as another opportunity for your faith to grow & for you to experience more of the goodness of God.

Why hire a doula?

WHAT I BELIEVE
I believe that life begins at conception, and that God has knit together every precious baby in the womb of a chosen mother. Scripture says that children are a blessing, They should be seen as a gift and treated as such.
I believe that a woman's instinct and the design of her body enables her to do what she is created and designed for. To give birth. We should not intervene unless necessary. However I know that sometimes birth plans change, and that is okay! No mother or baby is the same, and no birth is the same. While we are thankful for interventions when necessary, we recognize that changes in the plan can cause a lot of trauma. When intervention is necessary I am there to help navigate the change with you. Whether that means discussions during pregnancy, helping to navigate the situation in the moment, or being there to process in postpartum care. We are here for you!
We prepare for big moments like birthday parties, weddings, and even baby showers, but so often we don't take the same care in preparing for the most memorable moment in our lives- birth! I would love to be there for you as you begin this new journey in expanding your family.
MY GOAL
As Doulas our goal is to help you have confidence in your ability to grow, birth, and care for your new babies! In a society where pregnant women are trained to be good patients, we want to provide you with physical/emotional support as well as the education needed for making the best, most informed decisions for your family!
After you have made these decisions, it is our aim to help you achieve your goals as much as possible. I can't guarantee how your labor will go and what the exact outcomes will be. That is not possible for anyone (including your provider... click HERE to read more). Birth can be unpredictable. What I can assure you is that you will be heard, valued, respected, and supported no matter if your dream birth comes true or your birth story changes direction. My goal is for you to have beautiful memories despite any particular outcome.
Many of the conversations in our culture surrounding birth are fear based. I want to shift those conversations to be more evidence based and driven by peace not fear. No matter what your birth plan looks like,

Kristin was there with us through my INTENSE 15 hour labor. She prayed over me, held pressure on my body through every contraction & made sure my wishes were honored during my hospital delivery. She’s a wonderful woman of God, she listened to what I wanted and empowered me to stick with what my heart desired regardless of my ever changing birth plan. She stayed with me for 18+hours at the hospital. I seriously couldn’t have done it without her. My husband & I are so very grateful for her.
