BETHANY PEABODY

"My husband and I recently welcomed our first baby. When making our birth plan, we weren't sure about hiring a doula, but our midwife explained the benefits. We met Kristin, and I immediately felt excited to have her as part of our birth team. By the time baby came, our birth plan had changed significantly (having to go to the hospital instead of birthing at home) and Kristin was so helpful during that transition! In the end, it wasn't the birth I wanted, but Kristin helped us make the best of it. We're planning on more kids and can't imagine not having Kristin there for their births!"

KOREN HENDERSON

"Kristin was a gift from God for my family and me. I didn’t think I needed a doula, but thankfully my husband encouraged me to find someone to help us through the birth of our first baby. From the 1st phone call I knew it was the right decision. I had a lot of stress due to different circumstances and Kristen helped me put everything into perspective and focus on the task at hand of getting prepared to naturally birth my baby. I didn’t know it at the time, but our talk helped me enjoy the last few weeks of my pregnancy. My plans for a home birth were quickly turned upside down when my water broke at 35

weeks. In what felt like the scariest moments of my life, Kristin was a bright light. She arrived at the hospital minutes after my husband and I got there, we werealready shaken up because the nurses couldn’t find the babies heartbeat at first, and Kristin said a powerful prayer for us that helped us find peace in the chaos and remember God is in control. When the doctors wanted to induce right away, she instantly encouraged us to talk about our options with our midwife. It would have been very easy to get swept up in the instant interventions if we didn’t have Kristin or our midwife to give us science based evidence and alternative options. We decided to labor as naturally as possible and try lesser interventions before starting pitocin at the 48 hour mark. When it came to the time to start pitocin I was so scared. I was scared for the baby being 35 weeks and the stress it was going to put on her, and for the added uncomfort I knew it was going to bring. Kristin knew all of my fears surrounding pitocin, and wanted to be there before we started it. I’ll never forget the moments leading up to starting pitocin. Kristin said another spirit filled prayer for us that was exactly what I needed. Once the pitocin started the work began and Kristin guided me with exercises and all kinds of different positions to help get the baby to keep moving down and in a good position. The hospital wanted to rush the process by going up 2 units of pitocin every 30 minutes. Kristen advised that once we were at 4 units of Pitocin we stay there for awhile let my body have time to work with the medicine. With only 3 hours and 4 units of pitocin the baby made her arrival. The staff did not expect for the baby to come at 4 units of Pitocin, and they were not ready when I couldn’t resist the urge to push. Kristin caught the baby with no doctors or nurses in the room! I truly can’t put into words how much we needed Kristin there. She has a gift from God and it’s obvious that He is using her help women like me who want to birth their baby in this way. Not only did she help me, but my husband and mom as well. We are all so very grateful that we had Kristin there to guide us through it. I truly feel that there could have been many different outcomes if she hadn’t been there and on my team. Kristin is a wonderful doula, God used her to help us in our most vulnerable moments and we will forever be grateful that He put her in our path."

KOREN'S MOM

"Kristin was a God send! I had the privilege of meeting Kristin at the hospital when my daughter went into labor at 35 weeks. A home birth was planned however, God had other plans. I honestly cannot recommend her enough! Kristin is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also truly passionate about supporting women through their birthing journey. Kristin took the time to provided emotional and physical support throughout the entire process. During labor, Kristin was an absolute rock. She was calm, reassuring, and knew exactly

what my daughter needed – whether it was guidance with breathing techniques, helping her find the most comfortable positions, or simply offering words of encouragement and prayer. Her presence gave us so much peace of mind, knowing we had someone experienced and compassionate by our side. Kristin was also wonderful at advocating for the birth plan even when things didn’t go as expected. I’m so grateful for the care and attention Kristin provided, and I believe she played a huge part in having a great birth experience. If you’re looking for a doula who is kind, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to your well-being, Kristin is the one. I can’t thank her enough for the role she played in bringing my grandbaby into the world!"
